We are at the 2010 Texas State Fair

Our booth is set up at the 2010 Texas State Fair.  This is our first time, but we will run a booth every year until at least 2014.  Already, we have had a great time sharing our excitement for science with fair-goers of all ages.  As DISCUS Director, I have to give my utmost thanks to all of the students from UTA and the other volunteers who will give their time over the next two weeks to ensure the success of this endeavor.  Already, it is a success, but my hope is that these efforts are the first steps in taken DISCUS nationwide.  If you have the chance, please come out and visit us at the Fair.  You can find a map to our booth here; we are on the northeast side of the fairgrounds, by the Pennsylvania-Lagow entrance.
